UNDERTAKER'S HELLS GATE

Well, any wwe follower would be knowing that Undertaker has added this submission/KO move to his finishers list. The deadman can now finish off his larger opponents with a legitimate move. Talking more about the hold, it looks to be pretty effective and it has also been booked well so far (Big show, edge, khali, big daddy v, mark henry have tapped out/got KO' ed to it). But don't you think the deadman is sort of in a vulnerable position for a PIN count attempt? If this move gets countered into a roll up... - Was this finisher introduced as part of a plan for staging Undertaker's defeat at Wrestlemania? Only time will tell.

XBox 360 vs PS3 vs Wii

Unless you live under a rock, you'll have heard about the video game console war currently being waged. There are three massive media companies in the fight, all supplying game fans and their families with home entertainment. Microsoft, Nintendo, and Sony are all looking to suck the dollars out of your wallets and debit cards. Before you go out and just throw your money away, here's a brief look at what each of these consoles offer.

MICROSOFT XBOX 360

Released in North America last year, Microsoft's XBox 360 was the first next-gen console on the market and has had more time to iron out the kinks. While obtaining a Nintendo Wii or Sony PlayStation 3 for list price might be impossible this holiday season, anyone in North America, Europe, Japan, India, South Korea, or South Africa can buy an XBox 360. The XBox 360's primary function is video games and excels when focusing online. XBox Live on XBox 360 allows friends to play together, message one another, voice chat, and even video chat. Sony and Nintendo offer similar functionality but can't compete with Microsoft's polish. A majority of XBox 360 games have online features like multiplayer battles, cooperative play, and downloadable content. In addition to gaming, Microsoft's XBox 360 has an optional HD DVD add-on and rent-able HD videos to compete with PlayStation 3's BluRay. These two options add cost to the console but the XBox 360 on its own is less expensive than the PlayStation 3.

New games on Microsoft's XBox 360 include GEARS OF WAR, VIVA PINATA, TOM CLANCY'S RAINBOW SIX VEGAS, and CALL OF DUTY 3. The XBox 360 has more games to offer than the other two consoles and already has several very well reviewed "classics". Gamers are bound to get hours (if not months) of enjoyment from ELDER SCROLLS IV: OBLIVION, TOM CLANCY'S GHOST RECON ADVANCED WARFIGHTER, CALL OF DUTY 2, and DEAD RISING. Highly anticipated future releases include LOST PLANET, HALO 3, and FABLE 2.

SONY PLAYSTATION 3

Released in North America last week, the Sony PlayStation 3 is the self-proclaimed usher of "True Next Generation Entertainment". While fanboys for Sony and Microsoft can debate this fact for hours, but one fact is irrefutable: PlayStation 3 is next gen. This new "computer entertainment system" is the first game console to run games and movies on BluRay discs. If you are unfamiliar with this format, BluRay is one of two high definition storage media currently available on the market. BluRay discs hold up to 50 gigs or information as varied as CG-graphics to lines of character dialog. In addition to BluRay, the PlayStation 3 provides gamers with the most modern graphics available on a gaming console. Games can run at a 1080p HD resolution, something impossible in the last generation. The selling point of the PlayStation is that this thing is a computer. It can provide a fantastic gaming experience, high-def movies, and even access to the Internet.

Games on the Sony PlayStation 3 include RESISTANCE: FALL OF MAN, RIDGE RACER 7, NBA '07, and TONY HAWK'S PROJECT 8. So far RESISTANCE: FALL OF MAN has been the system seller, but the rest of the exclusive games don't seem to have garnered the greatest reviews. Launch titles are notoriously underwhelming and these games are in no way indicative of the PlayStation 3's fate. Games like LAIR and MOTORSTORM are waiting in the wings to impress a global collective of gamers.

THE NINTENDO WII

Released in North America just this past weekend, the Nintendo Wii is a bold new approach to video game consoles. The Wii abandons the gaming mantra of the past 20-odd years. Instead of focusing on graphics, the Wii is spending its effort on gameplay. This new system allows multiple players the ability to interact with their games in three dimensions. Holding a controller (lovingly known as a Wii-mote) that is shaped like a candy bar, players have to swing, snap, roll, and jab the device to play the games. How is this different than playing games on another console? Instead of pushing a plastic stick to roll a bowling ball, you will lift the controller up like a bowling ball and swing it in a motion identical to bowling. The selling point here is that anyone can play with this controller. It has been designed so that players won't need to know 30-button combo maneuvers to enjoy video games.

Games on the Nintendo Wii include THE LEGEND OF ZELDA: THE TWILIGHT PRINCESS, EXCITE TRUCK, WII SPORTS, MADDEN NFL 2007, RED STEEL and TRAUMA CENTER: SECOND OPINION. So far, THE LEGEND OF ZELDA has been the stand out title, with WII SPORTS and MADDEN NFL also getting some very positive review. Look for SUPER MARIO GALAXY and METROID PRIME 3: CORRUPTION some time in the future.

WHICH ONE TO BUY?

Most households will not be buying all three of these consoles, so a decision has to be made about which to buy. I've decided to list the three most essential selling points of the consoles and I'll let you decide for yourself.

NINTENDO WII: Gameplay, Nostalgia, Inexpensive

SONY PLAYSTATION 3: Graphics, BluRay, Market Leader

MICROSOFT XBOX 360: Online, Catalog of Titles, Downloading Movies and TV.

I hope this brief glimpse made you better informed consumers, gamers, and citizens. No one knows who will win this console war and the outcome will be in doubt probably for another two years. Nevertheless, we will all benefit from the incredible innovations that these three companies will provide.

wwe Smackdown series embraces xbox 360 as well. Now i am in a dilemma!

Sau dard hain,sau rahatein
sab mila dilnashin
ek tuhi nahi

rukhi rukhi si yeh hawa
aur sukhe patte ki tarah
shehar ki,sadko pe main
lawaris, udta hua
sau raste
par teri rah nahi

behta hain paani, behne de
waqt ko yuhi, rehne de
dariya ne karwat li hai toh
saahilon ko sehne de
sau hasratein
par tera ghum nahi

sau dard hain,sau rahatein
sab mila dilnashin
ek tuhi nahi

This turned out to be true...
Thought i could forget everything...
Tried hard to convince myself that life has to move on...
That she would have already done the same...

Still...

10 MOST VIOLENT GAMES NAMED

Family Media Guide ranks the goriest games of the year; Resident Evil 4, GTA, 50 Cent make list.

Resident Evil 4. Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas. God of War. It might read like a list of Game of the Year nominees, but it's actually a sampling of games from Family Media Guide's recently released Top 10 Most Violent Video Games list.

The 10 games named by Family Media Guide and the reasons given for their inclusion are as follows:

Resident Evil 4(Superb Horror survival game)--"Player is a Special Forces agent sent to recover the President's kidnapped daughter. During the first minutes of play, it's possible to find the corpse of a woman pinned up on a wall--by a pitchfork through her face."

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas(Well - THE Game)--"Player is a young man working with gangs to gain respect. His mission includes murder, theft, and destruction on every imaginable level. Player recovers his health by visiting prostitutes then recovers funds by beating them to death and taking their money. Player can wreak as much havoc as he likes without progressing through the game's storyline."

God of War(One of the best Action-Adventure game ever)--"Player becomes a ruthless warrior, seeking revenge against the gods who tricked him into murdering his own family. Prisoners are burned alive and player can use 'finishing moves' to kill opponents, like tearing a victim in half."

NARC--"Player can choose between two narcotics agents attempting to take a dangerous drug off the streets and shut down the KRAK cartel while being subject to temptations including drugs and money. To enhance abilities, player takes drugs including pot, Quaaludes, ecstasy, LSD, and 'Liquid Soul'--which provides the ability to kick enemies' heads off."

Killer 7--"Player takes control of seven assassins who must combine skills to defeat a band of suicidal, monstrous terrorists. The game eventually escalates into a global conflict between the US and Japan. Player collects the blood of fallen victims to heal himself and must slit his own wrists to spray blood to find hidden passages."

The Warriors--"Based on a '70s action flick that set new standards for 'artistic violence,' a street gang battles its way across NYC in an attempt to reach its home turf. Player issues several commands to his gang, including 'mayhem,' which causes the gang to smash everything in sight."
50 Cent: Bulletproof--"Game is loosely based on the gangster lifestyle of rapper Curtis '50 Cent' Jackson. Player engages in gangster shootouts and loots the bodies of victims to buy new 50 Cent recordings and music videos."

Crime Life: Gang Wars--"Player is the leader of a ruthless street gang, spending time fighting, recruiting new gangsters, looting, and of course, more fighting. Player can roam the streets and fight or kill anyone in sight for no apparent reason."

Condemned: Criminal Origins--"Player is an FBI serial killer hunter in one of the first titles for the Xbox 360. Game emphasizes the use of melee weapons over firearms, allowing players to use virtually any part of their environment as a weapon. The next-generation graphics provide a new level of detail to various injuries, especially 'finishing moves.'"

True Crime: New York City--"Player is a NYC cop looking for information regarding the mysterious death of a friend. Player can plant evidence on civilians and shake them down to earn extra money."

ThanX to Gamespot

"Mohabbaton mein jeene wale khushnaseeb hain, mohabbaton mein marne waale bhi ajeeb hain; Azeem hai hamari dastaan jaan-e-mann, faaslon mein rehte hain lekin kareeb hain"

- Salman Khan

These are the lines that open the track - 'Humko maloom hai' from Jaan-E-Mann. The melody that follows is unique as Sonu Nigam starts singing 'Hum Ko Maaloom Hain'. An extremely difficult number to compose and sing, both Anu Malik and Sonu Nigam make it all sound so easy inspite of Gulzar saab coming up with his trademark 'conversational' lyrics rather than a conventional prose. One can hear a variety of instruments in this marvelously orchestrated number that may sound akin to an A.R. Rehman composition but it still completely original. In the end, the song takes a sad turn(my FAV part of the song - simply gr8) and even comes close to Ismail Darbar's 'Tadap Tadap'. The signature tune of 'Humko Maaloom Hai' marks the beginning of 'Sau Dard' which is yet another brilliant song.
Well Anu Malik is back, alive and kicking!!!

TNA HAS JUST DROPPED A BOMBSHELL

Here is what angle had to say

“Being with TNA feels like I have finally found my home. I had fun in WWE at certain times, but I was never really happy. Now being a part of TNA, I know I have a purpose. I feel like I am part of history, part of a company that is not only on the rise – not only going to be the number-one watched wrestling show in the world within a short period of time – but TNA gives me an opportunity to spread my wings. This company has no limits to where it can go. The sky is the limit and the main reason is because they brought the “real” back into wrestling and that is a perfect fit for the greatest wrestler in USA Olympic history. I have room to grow here and to help TNA grow. Working for these caring and very giving employers of TNA makes me feel like I have a purpose and that the sky is the limit. I don’t feel trapped or held back like I did the first six years in my tenure with the other company. They held me back. Now, our wonderful audience will see the real Kurt Angle doing what I love to do – real wrestling – and that’s what puts a smile on my face each time I come to work. I even smile when I think about it. TNA will be the most watched television show on cable television. It’s only a matter of time. Now, I get the opportunity and privilege of being a part of it. Thank you TNA for saving my career, my life and my desire to do what I love. I will be here in some capacity for the rest of my life. That’s real…that’s damn real.” – Kurt Angle
